Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills is a family-run, American textile manufacturer located in New Jersey, primarily serving residential and contract jobbers, as well as furniture manufacturers. Since its inception, Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills has been committed to a legacy of American craft and manufacturing. When the original mill burned down in 1985, a new facility could have been built anywhere, including overseas. But keeping in the spirit of community and family, Irwin Gasner did not hesitate to rebuild in Garfield, New Jersey, just 30 minutes outside of Manhattan. Today's Wearbest mill is completely state-of-the-art and the textiles it produces lead the industry in design/color options, performance, and sustainability in every market it serves.
