Vermont Wildwoods is a wood alchemist that produces beautiful, bespoke spalted wood surfaces for the prized work of industrial designers, interior designers, and architects. We have created a proprietary method for intentionally curing and conditioning wood into spalted maple, spalted beech, spalted poplar, spalted yellow birch, and spalted basswood trees. Whether we cut trees from our family’s 200 acres of forest or we buy them from other loggers, our wood follows the same path from young saplings to mature rulers of the Northern Forests and ultimately to sustainably harvested logs that are turned into stunning spalted maple products.
