Trendy Accessories World is a high-end leather handbag and accessories manufacturer located in Brooklyn, NY. Having been in business for 25 years we house the most updated machinery in the city, and our group of professionals all have at least 10 years or more of experience in the industry. We specialize in leather handbags, totes, wallets, belts, clutches, bracelets, sandals, suitcases, dog accessories made in house. At Trendy Accessories, the customer always comes first and we are dedicated to quality and creating the best products for each customer. We do patterns, samples, and production. If you need patterns made from your images or designs to start, we have 2 pattern makers on premises at all times. We also do handmade in-house fixtures on any leather products. Our production quality is very high (same as our sample quality). We are dedicated to accommodating and making our customers happy, and we take pride in each product that we create.

Sent a sample to the factory for them to review it. Maintained contact but was very unprofessional on the phone. Staff ordered me to make a payment before a certain time, after shortly explaining to them about the product. After telling staff I was uncomfortable making payment over Paypal due to the overall sketchiness of the factory, Elvis then refused to return the sample shipment. DO NOT USE.
I went Trendy Accessories with a sample and production run for my leather goods products. They immediately responded and we scheduled a factory visit and they answered all of our questions and gave us their professional suggestions regarding are products. We began the sample making process and took only a week. We began production for 100 pieces took 2 weeks to manufacture. Samples and Production came out great we will continue working with Trendy Accessories for our products. Thanks Makersrow for making this connection possible at a crucial time.
I came to Trendy Accessories with a sample run that had a very short timeline. I made this very clear in the beginning and they accepted the challenge assuring me they were up to the task. The first sample made was great. But, then the second and third batches increasingly got worse. I had a mishap with sourcing my hardware and had to purchase an undesirable batch to make a trade show deadline (for the sake of having working samples to show buyers). Trendy Accessories assured me they could plate my hardware within the time constraints and desired standards. As it turned out I received my samples 2 days before the show and none of them could be used. Hardware was breaking off, plating all peeling off. Really, such a disappointment that very negatively impacted my show experience. I could not let buyers interact with any of the samples Trendy Accessories made. I truly hate giving bad reviews and I really wanted to have a working relationship with them, but unfortunately they offered zero apology, concern, or explanation as to what had happened (zero customer service) . Not only was my experience at a major show affected, but the hardware and leather used are now all damaged goods. All in all, an expensive lesson and a huge loss on my end. They really need to work on their communication and be 100% sure and committed to the projects they choose to take on. As well, if they feel that a non desirable outcome will take effect, they need to let the customer know. For example, letting the customer know that a plating job will not come out well such as in this case. Basically, a heads up. If I was told this prior to them ruining my trade show experience I never would have moved forward with plating hardware. They have the experience with working with materials and I did not at the time. I still cannot understand why they would suggest and assure me that plating over hardware I purchased was ok when it was not. Totally unprofessional.

Hey Dean after you explained you wished to maintain your production with your previous manufacturer over email we requested for you to call us back; Which you clearly refused to do. All our clients make a deposit payment before we begin any job and provide either their shipping account or return label.

We are truly unhappy with your displeasure towards our company. Before we began your production you were warned multiple times about plating over hardware that is already plated. For example just like you can't paint over a car unless you remove the paint. You insisted it was fine and ok to use that hardware. The plating job you sent it out to another company to do because we don't do plating, meaning we are not a plating company. We assured we would receive the plated hardware in time to have the samples to you before your show. The sample which was great is due to having properly plated hardware with which we purchased to completely your sample. Trendy Accessories has been in business for 40 years in the garment district.

I contacted NY Leather accessories to create samples for my small leather goods line. They were immediately responsive and we scheduled a factory visit. They answered all of our questions regarding our technical designs and we moved forward with samples. The sample making process took only a week (for our 10 product line!) and they kept us opdated throughout the process. The samples looked fantastic and we are currently in production. Looking forward to growing our relationship with Elvis, Elmo and the team!
