In 2001, Edward Angelo Enrique started Taf Buying Service in his living room to work as a freelance U.S. buying agent for Fenwick department stores of England. For Fenwick's first NY womenswear trade show, Edward escorted the Managing Director and Buyer directly at 9 a.m. to the booth of 7 For All Mankind. He informed the buyer that this would be the hottest denim line, she must write an order on the spot or risk being blocked out by a better-known competitor. The buyer did write the order on the spot, the competitor did try to block them, but the showroom honored the order and Fenwick went on to make a lot of money with this brand which became a huge success world-wide.
