SAS has 13 insulated stainless steel mixing kettles of various sizes, all equipped with mechanical agitation and heating coils to ensure that all customer-required formulations are blended and mixed properly and remain in solution. Most of these mixing kettles are mounted directly on load cells to ensure formulation amounts are accurately measured and to maintain batch consistency. After the blending process is complete, we have more than 11 million gallons of storage tanks to store blended products before packaging. SAS also has more than 300,000 gallons of storage tanks for bulk chemicals used in the blending process. For customers that require dry powder blending or screening, SAS has paddle and rotary Continental style mixers that have liquid wetting capabilities. In addition, there are several silos onsite for dry product storage. Grinding and de-lumping services are also available.
