High style Queen Anne and Chippendale antiques, with their elegant shapes and ornate carving, are among the finest furniture examples available and captivate both collector and cabinet maker alike. Joel Ficke is a cabinet maker, instructor and eternal student of these examples. His work, which uses authentic materials, finishes and construction techniques, can be found in the gallery. Individual instruction and several on-line classes are available and detailed under courses. Useful references to books, museums, instructors and supplies are listed in the links section. Contact Joel should you have any questions about existing pieces, future commissions, or instruction.
