SHIMNA collaborates with architects and designers for the design, construction and supply of high quality furnishings and case goods for the residential, hospitality and commercial markets. SHIMNA is a member of the sustainable furnishings council. we believe in working with local materials and businesses. the majority of our woods and metals are from sustainable sources within 200 miles of NYC. SHIMNA products are designed and built in the usa. wood is supplied from family owned and operated sustainable sources in pennsylvania. fabrication takes place in workshops in pennsylvania and new york. many SHIMNA signature wood products are finished with tung or mineral oil and we encourage the use of water-based finishes and coatings.
