Shilo Byrd Studio is a boutique patternmaking firm serving the RTW fashion industry in New York City We meticulously hand-draft, drape, and fit best-quality patterns for the Ready To Wear market, with a focus on tailored wovens. While we with work with fashion brands large and small, we are particularly passionate about developing ongoing relationships with independent and emerging designers and supporting them through the prototyping and product development process. We develop our patterns using flat drafting, draping, and garment tracing methods. Whether the designer has an illustration, a vintage garment or simply a written list of what they want their garment to be, we can work with them to make it come to life. We have no minimums and include a round of free fit adjustments to every job. We employ a team of highly skilled tailors who can handle fabrics from coat wools to slippery silks with ease. Our pressing and clean finishing is immaculate.
