About

Sewn Goods is a pattern service and development house offering apparel and sewn product services including: pattern making, grading, markers, design development, sample making and sourcing. Categories we service include: men's wear women's wear, bags and soft luggage. Being designers ourselves we understand the importance of a solid concept as well as paying attention to trends in the market and reference points that are beyond the scope of fashion. Although we like to work across and at times straddle different aesthetic points of view our design strengths lie in creating bags and clothing that combine modern minimal silhouettes and classic fabrications. We can work with clients starting at any point in the conceptual process whether you're looking to refine your existing designs, add additional styles to a product line or explore new product categories. We can help you design a single style or a whole range of styles that are in line with your brand image and target customer. Once the design concept is established Sewn Goods has the ability to take designs through the development process and create production ready packages for each style that include: patterns, tech packs, sources and showroom samples. SERVICES INCLUDE: PATTERN MAKING: (first patterns, patterns from a reference sample, patterns from specifications, production patterns, grading, markers, cost markers and correction/verification of existing patterns.) GRADING: size grading from your specifications or we can develop specs for your project. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT: From your first sample, reference sample, image, sketch, tech pack, etc. SAMPLE MAKING: (First samples, sew by samples, sales samples, showroom samples and sample sets.)

    Awesome Attention to Detail

As a painter and fabric artist I had no experience with the technical side of fashion or how to create the designs I wanted. I had been selling hand painted t-shirts for many years but wanted to update the clothing silhouettes to bring my line to a new level. Sewn goods was able to turn my ideas and reference photos into original patterns and samples that were just what I wanted. I had no idea how much work goes into making just one design. We went through fit sessions and I realized the importance of a clear idea, specifications and how slight changes can completely alter the look of a piece. Jonas advised me about different design elements and finishing elements that really made my ideas look professional. The attention to detail was awesome and I'm looking forward to working with him on many new styles that all work together as a cohesive line.
