Richmond Specialty Yarns LLC has been a part of the FilSpec family since November 2009. RSY is located in Ellerbe, North Carolina about one hour and a half from Charlotte. Before FilSpec acquired a majority ownership in the enterprise and renamed it Richmond Specialty Yarns, RSY was known as Richmond Yarns. Mr . R.W. Goodman founded Richmond Yarns in 1976 and the company was still owned by the Goodman family until FilSpecês acquisition. With a dedicated and experience workforce and professional textile experts, RSY supplies high quality yarns to many market leaders. Along with flexible ring spinning frames, RSY possesses state of the art winding, doubling and twisting equipment and a segregated production area that allows production of several types of fibers without contamination. The combination of FilSpec and RSY provide a true synergy that benefit to our customers, allowing them a wider range of product offering, more flexible manufacturing logistic and impeccable customer service.
