Today, as a Real Estate Investment Trust, or REIT, we own approximately 1.42 million acres of forestland in Arkansas, Idaho, and Minnesota. Every acre that we use for silviculture is certified under the rigorous standards of the Forest Stewardship Council, and every acre is managed for maximum value. Through its taxable REIT subsidiary, the company also operates six manufacturing facilities that produce lumber and panel products. The company, which employs approximately 1,000 people, also conducts a real estate sales and development business through its taxable REIT subsidiary.
