Product Development
I first started working with Jennifer in March 2016. I had been in development with a manufacturer in LA for about a year, and after receiving my second sample, I knew I had to find someone who really knew the product I was trying to make. I found Jennifer’s page on Maker’s Row and after a quick response, we set up a meeting for the following week. Jennifer was interested in learning about the product and was willing to put in the time and ask the right questions, which provided a way for me to further think and explain my vision – this really helped push the development of the product. She also suggested fabric and trims, and made recommendations for improvement. In three months, I received 3 patterns and samples from Jennifer and my vision was brought to life. Great communication skills, very prompt, follows up on her promises and what she says she is going to do, and is honest about the time and work it will take to complete your project and is fair on pricing. I know that working with Jennifer over these past few months has saved me so much time, money and energy. I also recommend her book “Fashion Unraveled” for anyone looking to start their own fashion business.
