Disappointed with their work
I was very disappointed with my experience with this factory. My first samples were sewn incorrectly - the wrong fabric was used for the wrong type of sample. And even though pictures were taken of the exact prototype to be sewn, the fabric was cut in the wrong direction and the sample sewn incorrectly, extra cuts were made that were unnecessary. Upon trying to fix the samples and create completely new ones for the ones that couldn't be fixed, I was told they would be done at a certain time the next day. The next day I called to confirm they would be done so I wouldn't waste a trip out to the factory, and the owner confirmed they would be ready. When I arrived after the designated time, the samples were far from done. When I expressed my disappointment and irritation with the owner, Ana Maria, she told me that I couldn't expect her to micro-manage her team. What I wanted was for her to MANAGE her team which she clearly failed to do. Each time I dealt with her, she had many excuses as to why things weren't being done right, principally that they were very busy with other projects. I would have preferred apologies and results to the excuses. They drove out to deliver my samples to me the next morning but failed to bring the remaining fabric I brought so I had to make yet another trip out to the factory the following week to get it (I sent a text to Ana Maria asking for the fabric to be mailed to me but the text went unanswered). They did not attempt to charge me for the samples and, at my request, they did replace some of the fabric that was wasted on the bad samples since they coincidentally stocked the same $110/yard fabric but the other fabric that they didn't stock was not replaced nor did I ask for it to be. The quality of the work also left much to be desired. The consistency and quality wasn't there. Overall, I would NOT recommend this factory.
