PJ's Canvas was created by Pam and Jay in 1978 originally as a sail-making business at the Napa Valley Marina. By the early 1990s, the primary focus had shifted from sails to awnings built for a wide variety of commercial, residential and industrial applications. Throughout its over 30 years in business, PJ's Canvas has specialized in creating innovative design solutions for its clients. "When other companies would turn down a job because it was too difficult, we would accept it for the challenge," comments owner Jay Gardner.
