New England Alpaca Fiber Pool Inc. (NEAFP) pools U.S. alpaca fiber together from thousands of alpaca farms across the country to gain access to commercial scale processing. Farms that contribute fiber receive finished goods ranging from Socks to Rugs and everything in between in which they re-sell for a profit in their local communities. NEAFP's service allows U.S. alpaca farms of any size to gain access to a wide range of commercially manufactured products at a reasonable price. By pooling fiber together and bringing the raw fiber up the value add chain farms are able to make the highest percentage possible on their yearly fiber harvest.
