L. A. Montell & Company was established in 1924 by Louis A. Montell. He began by acquiring second hand jewelry and parlaying it into a wholesale diamond brokerage and jewelry manufacturing concern. Allan Erblich joined the firm when he married Joanne Montell, where for many years we serviced the community of jewelers in downtown St. Louis and the vicinity. Jack Montell expanded our reach to stores in the Midwest and when Jon Erblich joined the firm full time in 1978, continuing that tradition. Montell Company is a rarity in the world of diamonds and fine jewelry. The family has continued the tradition of quality and service for over 90 years. Our customers regard our expertise and experience as invaluable resources theyêve come to rely on. Our focus is on quality price-point products that are designed to differentiate your store from the competition and to help you make money.
