Minnesota Knitting Mills, Inc. (MKM) is a family-held, 105-year-old, 40+ employee, small business specializing in knit manufacturing. As a Minnesota based company, it has had the same banking/financial institution representation since its inception in 1908. Located in Mendota Heights, MN, the manufacturing facility boasts in excess of 200+ knitting machines capable of tubular, circular and sock/filter knit, braid knit, flat knit and jacquard knit. Within the facility, there is also a dye plant (atmospheric) and multiple finishing areas. Additionally, MKM has developed a select group of Premier Partners that allow for additional manufacturing capabilities ranging from narrow elastic to jersey knit and printed fabric. MKM leadership and employees have always believed knitting to be both an art and a craft in manufacturing to customer requirements. As an art, our knitters and management team combine more than three centuries of experience to develop, perfect and produce high quality custom knit parts to customers exacting specifications.
