Itsy Bitsy Ritzy Shop

The IBRShop is the world's first line of right-sized, handmade hardwood / upholstered furniture that has a smaller footprint on purpose for smaller spaces. It has built-in storage and multi-functional designs. We've spent quite a bit of time iterating through a variety of designs; striving to build the perfect, piece of 'right-sized' furniture for these hard to furnish spaces. This pursuit began when our founder Marcia (a practicing interior designer) could not find anything on the market that was well-designed, appropriately scaled, served multiple uses and most importantly built to her exacting quality standards. We decided to do things differently. We strive to source all of our materials and labor locally, so we can contribute to a local economy and a local base of skilled labor. We want to grow our business responsibly and that means being mindful of the carbon footprint in our supply chain. We figured one stop from warehouse to customer just made more sense. Our goal was to return to old fashion quality at an affordable price point. And we think we can identify latent pockets of demand with our unique made-to-order model and then create local manufacturing relationships to supply these local markets. The ultimate goal being that as IBR Shop scales, so too does the network of local artisans we employ. We eventually want to create a new type of digital guild for these skilled workers... but that's down the line.
