HP Pelzer was founded in 1969 in Witten, Germany by Helmut Pelzer. Over the last 30 years, the Pelzer Group has grown to 31 manufacturing plants and five technical centers, employing almost 6,000 people, spanning Europe, Asia and North and South America. The Eudora facility began production in August of 2001. This facility is located approximately 45 minutes west of the Kansas City Airport and 15 minutes from Lawrence, Kansas. This is a three-shift operation, producing molded urethane foam backed automotive floor carpets. Our fully automated manufacturing capabilities include carpet molding, robotic open-pour foaming, dielectric sealing, water jet trimming and manufacturing of non-woven carpet.
