First message replying to my project inquiry asked me to call him. I did, and had a brief and confusing phone call with lots of poor english. Asked me to email him the project details because he found maker's row too difficult to use. I emailed the details with photos, and got the response " yes we can make it but need to see it n pls visit my new pics in red hook" WHAT? I responded "I'm sorry I don't understand your last message. Need to see it what? What is red hook?". His response to this was "sorry Can you call me , if you don't mind Thanks Alan". I decided to find a manufacturer with whom I could communicate better.

House of Couture Accessories and Alan came highly recommend from a peer in the apparel industry, but what transpired in working with this company was an absolute nightmare. After 5 months of working with House of Couture the samples produced were no where near the quality discussed, and not even completed to correct specifications. Patterns incorrect, stitching and quality all subpar - this product couldn't even been sold on the shelves of Walmart sadly for my 20k investment + materials. Many deadlines were missed working with this company, and as a result I will not be able to show my collection for the upcoming market. I do not recommend using this company under any uncertain terms and hope any aspiring designer who reads this will take this review seriously and walk away immediately from working with them. I am perusing action as a result of what has transpired and I pray no designer ever has to go through the hell I've had in working with this con artist.
