Grand Forest Inc is an independently owned company located in Summerville, South Carolina, founded on the belief that loggers should be safe and well equipped. Grand Forest Inc was formerly known as Gränsfors Bruks Inc, after the Axe brand we distribute. In 2011 the new name of Grand Forest Inc was launched to establish an independent identity. As a distribution company, Grand Forest Inc is the sole US importer and distributor for Woolpower; original performance wool thermal undergarments and socks. These products are manufactured in Ostersud, Sweden with the same fabric design developed in 1972. Grand Forest Inc is also the sole US importer and distributor of the Swedish hand-forged Gransfors Axes and Tove® Swedish Spring Steel Wrecking Bars. Gränsfors Bruk has made axes in Sweden since 1902. In our Summerville facility, we proudly manufacture safety apparel for the chainsaw user. These products are sold across the United States and internationally.
