For nearly a century, Gannon & Scott has continued to grow and thrive _ surviving wars, depressions, recessions and continuously changing market conditions. Throughout, our main focus has never changed. All of us at Gannon & Scott _ from our leadership to our employees _ share a strong belief that conducting business with the utmost professionalism will help us continue to serve our customers far into the future. Gannon & Scott was founded in 1919 in Providence, RI by former office manager John Gannon and partner Fred P. Scott. From those early days, Gannon & Scott has grown into a world leader in providing the latest in customized precious metals refining, reclamation and physical/intellectual property destruction services to world leaders in a variety of fields. Gannon & Scott was one of the first businesses to recognize the rapidly expanding capabilities of metal refinement technology. In the 1960Ís, the expansion of the space program brought about a boom in both the electronic and personal computing industries which lead to an increased demand for precious metals. Gannon & Scott helped fill that need as it went through great lengths to invest in itself. The result was a period of growth for Gannon & Scott that has yet to subside.
