Handmade porcelain buttons, pressed molded in a tiny, hand-sculpted mold. Each is about an inch square, and weighs about as much as a quarter. Backs are silky-smooth. Each has four pierced holes for attaching to garment. Colors range from bone to smoke to peach, all the result of the firing, in which the flame deposits various amounts of soda glass on everything in the kiln.
