Beginning with a two-person operation based out of New York City in 1911, Frank Reitzas labored at night on his knitting machine, producing fabric that was sold each day by Flora, his equally dedicated wife. Frank believed that people should be able to buy quality products and still return home with change in their pockets. After over 100 years in business, this still-growing company continues to operate from the original granite mill in Fall River, Massachusetts, where we moved in the late 1930s. And just like the granite foundation of our mammoth 150,000 square foot mill, these factors have served us well. Nearly a century of making and selling sweaters have made us the best at what we do.
