Fabulous Fit¬ was founded by Jill Ralston and Massimo Barra, two successful fashion designers frustrated by the lack of correctly sized, proportionately accurate and well-made dress forms available. Seizing the opportunity, they applied their design skills toward creating a dress form that was both modern in posture and shape, with enough padding for easy pinning. The Fabulous Fit¬ founders have been major players in the fashion industry. Their combined careers include working on Dolce & Gabanna and Versace collections, further expanding into branding, manufacturing, and designing clothes for prominent stores such as Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Barney's, Saks 5th Avenue, and more. They are the founders of four successful businesses including Fabulous Fit¬, Fit Branding USA, Visual Merchandising International, and WebIMnyc.com. They are also the authors of Fit Made Easy, the comprehensive workbook on fitting and using a dress form as well as the Universal Fitting Solutions video, built on their personal experience as fashion designers and business owners. Their companies all started from a simple idea, and expanded globally.
