CTC Manufacturing, Inc. is a 501 (3) non-profit, established in 1970 to provide day activities for adults with disabilities in Carbon County who had graduated from school. Over time our mission evolved in to providing job training and employment for adults with disabilities who wanted to work. We moved from Jim Thorpe to our current location in Beaver Meadows in the late 1980s. In 2008, we changed our name from Carbon Training Center to CTC Manufacturing, Inc. CTC gives adults with disabilities who want to work the opportunity to hold a job and become a part of a team. Our workforce (both disabled and non-disabled) from Carbon, Luzerne, and Schuylkill Counties are employed in a variety of jobs ranging from assembly and packaging to janitorial services. The goods and services we provide for our customers generate enough sales revenues to cover 80% of our annual operational expenses.  In 2015 we will celebrate 45 years of providing job training and employment for adults with disabilities. We are exploring opportunities for expansion and the creation of more jobs for people with disabilities in the Tri-County area in the next several years. We want to create a work environment where workers with disabilities can prove themselves and show that they can compete for job opportunities and advancement. We offer apparel manufacturing (dress shirts, casual shirts, t-shirts, fleece & sweatshirts, outwear, headwear, bags & accessories), assembly and packaging, sewing services and more.
