Mike and Suzie Bowen successfully completed purchase of the company in 2000. Champion Awards became Champion Awards & Apparel Inc. in 2005. Mike changed focus of company to concentrate on quality, service, and profitability. 2010 began our 40th year of profitable business with over 2000 customers. Our family of customers span the corporate world such as FedEx , International Paper to small businsess such as Midsouth Ag, Triton Stone to over 100 non profit organizations in our Community. We still operate the business today with 30 long standing dedicated employees. Sales in 2010 were approximately 4 Million. Champion Awards and Apparel is entering its 15th year as a local licensee and concessionaire for the University of Memphis. We produce over 100 licensed items and merchandise for football and basketball games. Champion enters its 9th year and 4th year respectively as the exclusive licensee for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl and Godaddy.com Bowl. Champion also designs, produces, and merchandises virtually all AutoZone Liberty Bowl and Godaddy.com Bowl merchandise. Champion Awards is also a 25-year member of SGIA, ASI and PPAI and 40 year member of the Awards Recognition Association and the Memphis Chamber of Commerce.Ê
