The first Buckroos Supports paved the way for a full line of newer pipe insulation supports and pipe insulation protection saddles. Today, we have a complete system to meet the needs of every weight-bearing section of insulated pipe. We are seeing a growing desire from engineers for a pre-insulated support that can be specified for hot and chilled water. To address this need, we developed the Buckaroos CoolDry Sliding Saddle for chilled water and cold piping, and Model 1200E Calcium Silicate Insulated Saddle for hot piping over 250 degrees F. For ammonia refrigeration piping and piping that moves at startup, we introduced Buckaroos Sliding Saddles. These unique Sliding Saddles allow for up to 4" of linear movement, and feature a bottom Saddle that stays in place on the hanger, while the top saddle (taped to the insulation) moves with the pipe itself. This is due to a friction free liner coating on the bottom Saddle allowing the top Saddle to move.
